Rupert Riedl 29|07|70 Austrian Occupation - Sports Instructor Hobbies - Adventure Sports Born and bred in Salzburg (Austria). Rupert spent most his youth outdoors in the Alps. But the distance he saw from the top of the mountains wasn't enough and soon he had to explore further. Europe was soon conquered so it was off to America. After cycling from east to west and north to south he'd seen enough to satisfy himself but not for long. The adventure was still in hid blood so he applied to take part in the Camel Trophy, got accepted and in 1998 was the male half of the Austrian Team in South America. Still not satisfied he was glad to discover a Scots girl who also needed to see the world - Alp to Alp was born! |

Bridget Riedl-Laing 06|08|76 Scottish Occupation - Artist/Tour Guide/Mum! Hobbies - Mastering every sport possible Born and raised in Fife (Scotland). Bridge was happy for the first 17 years of her life, then the travel bug bit! Just before her 18th Birthday she left bonnie Scotland to travel for 1 year and hasn't been back since. She's lived in Austria for the last 4 years where she met her husband, the all round sportster, Rupert. Luckily the travel bug was in him too, and the world trip that has been a dream for so long is now becoming reality. |

Yannik Riedl 21|08|98 Scottish/Austrian Occupation - Undecided Hobbies - Eating, making funny noises, getting messy (Preferably all at once) Until recently Yannik was happy exploring the various corners of the apartment and garden (where the most interesting dirt is). He didn't really think about travelling to far-flung places but enjoyed the mountains in Austria, reaching his first summit at 18 days old. His first winter was spent in a Snowboard hut in the Alps where he tobboganned his way happily down the slopes in his adapted pram. In the spring it was time for him to see some of the world so he left with his mum and went interrailing round Britain (his first taste of the lifestyle to come ...) |

Lucky Luke 01|08|78 German Occupation - Camper Van Hobbies - Driving 5 years ago was a touch and go time for Lucky Luke. He sensed that his owners had tired of him and he was in danger of ending up like so many of his friends (squashed into a little box). The thought of it alone made him quiver. But up there in VW heaven there was a God after all. At first his new owner seemed a bit strange what with his carpet head and fetish for painting cowboys onto his new possession, but slowly they came to like and trust one and other. In the last 5 years he's seen more of Europe than he ever dreamed possible. But for a trip to New Zealand, he had to be honest, he just wasn't up to it. In fear of being replaced by one of those new faster high-tec machines he let it be known that he wasn't feeling so well. Fortunately his owner had no plans to replace him and after major internal surgery and a total face-lift. He's now feeling 100% again. |
